About Camp
Beginning/Intermediate. Creating an impressionistic or realistic upper torso figure requires a firm understanding of anatomy, plus color and value control. The upper torso includes the head, neck, upper body, arms and hands. We will also enjoy creating drawings and paintings of farm animals: geese, sheep, goats, etc. We will review a variety of drawing and painting techniques: glazing, soft and hard edges, plus a variety of textures. Weekly demonstrations, plus individual guidance makes this class suitable for students of all levels.
