Since the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, Chicago has grown to become a great cultural and commercial metropolis. Join us on a roughly 1 mile walking tour as our Chicago Architecture Center docent tells the stories behind some of the city’s architectural gems. Some buildings on the tour include Macy’s on State, Palmer House, and the Chicago Cultural Center. After the tour, enjoy free time to grab lunch on your own and explore the Chicago Architecture Center. Pick Up: Simkus – 8:15a-4:00p. Extensive Activity. Due Date: 7/1.Face coverings are required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated participants at all times while on the bus and may be necessary at some trip destinations. Please also note that you may be seated directly next to another participant on the bus and during activities.
