This class has been revised to include a choice of 3 types of basic basket. 1- Bread Basket, 2-Market Basket & 3-Market Basket w/Handles. If you liked the Market Basket, you will love your market basket with swing handles. The challenge with this basket is to weave the sides up straight, so your handles fit nicely. This is a functional basket that will serve you well in your home or out shopping. For more experienced weavers, the swing handles will make it versatile. Students who attend this class will be able to modify the pattern to create other baskets of different sizes. Ways to modify the pattern will be discussed in class, so students will leave with the ability to apply the skills they’ve learned to future projects. This is an advance-beginner level class. The Market Basket or Bread Basket are good prerequisites. Prior basket weaving experience required. Bring lunch and drinks. We will work through lunch so everyone will leave with a completed basket.
