Winter 2026 13-15 Girls Basketball League Information  Evaluation/Draft Date Monday, November 9th, 7:30pm at Bradley Center, 1200 Modena Street Mandatory Coaches Meeting Tuesday, November 17th at 7:30pm at Phillips Center, 2031 Echo Ln    Coaches: Please consider being a volunteer coach this season. We are always looking for dedicated good coaches to help lead our teams. All coaches must go through a background check. Volunteer head coaches will receive a credit for the amount of the current season. [City of Gastonia] New Background Check PDF  Practice: Practices will begin after Thanksgiving. Practices will at least be twice a week until games begin. Practice days will be determined by the volunteer coach and the Athletic Supervisor. Practices can be held at Bradley, Phillips, T. Jeffers, Erwin or Southeast Center. Games: Games will be played on Monday through Thursday. Usually, this league is in collaboration with other towns in Gaston County. The Gastonia locations for games will be Bradley and Southeast Center. Days are subject to change based on the amount of teams. Games will begin January 7th. Once games begin practices will be held to once a week, depending on availability of gym. Coach/Player Requests: We are not able to guarantee player and coach request. We will only be able to guarantee siblings in the same age division and members of a coach's immediate family, as long as the information is requested ahead of the evaluation date. Uniforms/Equipment: The uniform will consist of a shirt and shorts. It is recommended that players wear athletic shoes.
