Learn how to read music through a musical ruler (measurement) method. Once you learn the musical ruler, you will understand rhythm, and then read music. Students will be provided a short paragraph and piece of music to read. No one has ever read this music flawlessly. It will then be shown why, and the musical ruler explained. At the end of the lecture, students will be able to read music provided by instructor.
