About Camp
Using the chords and modified tuning learned in the Introduction to Fingerstyle, students should have gained some strength and dexterity in changing chords. Some new chord forms will be added as we continue to work on both accompaniment and instrumental arrangements in C tuning. We’ll work on practice skills to make the most of the time we spend playing the guitar. Picking patterns will continue to be emphasized. Additionally, we’ll learn the basics of learning the key and chords of songs we hear on the radio or TV. At least two new songs will be added to our repertoire, And, our goals are still to memorize and play for ourselves, friends and family too. Listening to music is required. Reading music is not.
