Become a Youth Soccer Referee!Thank you for your interest in officiating with the City of Maricopa! Our referees are vital to providing a safe, fair, and fun environment for our young athletes. Please review the season details and requirements below before submitting your application.Season OverviewLocation: Fields 5-8, Copper Sky Regional Park (44345 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.)Dates: October 10th – November 21st (7-game season)Game Times: Primarily Saturdays, 8:30 AM – 1:40 PM (Note: Some weeknight games may be scheduled).Schedules: Detailed game assignments will be managed entirely through the Team Sideline app.Compensation & RequirementsPay Rate: $15.15 – $45.00 per game (Based on experience, certification, and game assignment).Age: 14 years or older.Experience: Novice to advanced knowledge of soccer is preferred.Equipment: Referees must provide their own yellow referee jersey and basic officiating equipment: flags, yellow and red cards, watch, etc. (available on Amazon or at local sporting goods stores).Selection & Mandatory TrainingPositions are competitive. Selection is based on league experience, rule knowledge, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset.
