About This Camp & Activity
Get ready to become one of the most capable, trusted, and in-demand babysitters in your neighborhood! This fun and interactive camp is designed for youth ages 11-14 who want to build the skills and confidence needed to provide safe, responsible childcare.Participants will learn essential babysitting skills through the American Red Cross (ARC) Babysitter's Training course, including choosing age-appropriate activities, basic infant and child care, safety, leadership, professionalism, communication, and how to start and market a successful babysitting business. Beyond the classroom, campers will enjoy arts, crafts, games, team-building activities, and other fun experiences that reinforce what they've learned while making new friends.Participants who successfully complete all ARC course requirements will receive a digital ARC Babysitter's Training certification.Please note: this camp does not include CPR or First Aid certifications. This camp will have a lunch break, please bring a bag lunch/snacks.
