About Camp
The City of Dublin's Afterschool Recreation programs promote positive youth development and support the childcare needs of families in Dublin. Afterschool Recreation is for children in first to fifth grades and is offered at Amador, Cottonwood Creek, Dougherty, Dublin, Frederiksen, John Green, Kolb and Murray elementary schools in Dublin. The program provides students with quiet time each day to complete homework, and includes a variety of group and individual activities and indoor/outdoor games to enjoy after homework time. During homework time, Recreation Leaders are available to assist students with their assignments. Each school site is supervised by Recreation Leaders who have leadership training and certification in First Aid and CPR. Afterschool Recreation runs from school dismissal until 5:45 PM, including minimum days. Please note, Afterschool Recreation does not operate on school holidays or any other non-school day.
