Grade refers to the 2024/2025 school year.This 4 week camp is designed to help take your offseason development to the next level. Each session will include:20 minutes of ball handling to attack, relieve pressure and create space AND finishing at the basket20 minutes of shot development – footwork / flow / follow through20 minutes of passing, cutting, using screens and using space30 minutes of competitionsWeek 1 focus = ball handling and shootingWeek 2 focus = 1v1 Week 3 focus = 3v3 with close outs and spacingWeek 4 focus = 3v3 and 2v2 with constraints / advantages for space. Basketball is a game played against other players, unfortunately many skill trainers use “on air” or “cones” for spacing and defense. It is essential that young players learn how to find and create space, read and react to defenders, make quick decisions and make plays. This weekly camp will use player vs player competitions to help apply skills and develop basketball decision making and play making. This camp will be fun and engaging and yet will focus on high level instruction.
