About Camp
Three, two-week day camps servicing children who have completed grades K-5. Three sites based on grade level: Camp Royle 1 -- kids who have successfully completed kindergarten (entering Grade 1); Camp Royle 2/3 -- kids who have successfully completed grades 1 & 2 (entering Grades 2 & 3); Camp Mather (located at Holmes School on Hoyt Street) -- kids who have successfully completed grades 3, 4 & 5 (entering Grades 4, 5 & 6). Camps run daily from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with drop-off/health-check taking place from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. daily. Program includes a variety of sports, arts & crafts, entertainers and if possible, field trips.We will again be following COVID-19 guidelines put forth by State of Connecticut's Office of Early Childhood (OEC). At this time, those guidelines include: mandatory mask-wearing by all program participants; cohorts of no more than 20 campers (each group will have two counselors assigned to group regardless of size of group); each group will have a classroom as its "home-base." Please note, per OEC, these guidelines can change at any time.Please note, children must be appropriate grade in our system to register online.
