About This Camp & Activity
Join us for our Fall 2026 Weed Warriors classes! Baltimore City Weed Warriors program is an official park stewardship program that provides training and support for those interested in removing non-native invasive plants from local ecosystems. Volunteer stewards who complete their certification are able to work independently and/or lead events on Baltimore City Recreation & Parks properties. The Pathway 2 sessions are for those who have completed at least one class in the Pathway 1 session, and provides advanced training in plant identification and urban ecology. Stewards completing the new Pathway 2 series will learn to identify additional species beyond those learned in Pathway 1. This session will be held in person; location details will be sent to registered participants prior to the class. To learn more about our program, please visit our Tree Baltimore Website here or email us at weed.warriors@baltimorecity.gov
