This Class is for Ages 5-8 Level II (those who have taken a lesson before) & Ages 9-15 Beginner (those who have not taken a lesson with us before). The Ukulele is the easiest string instrument to learn. It's small size and soft nylon strings make it the perfect instrument for both kids and adults. The Uke has become very popular in pop and rock music and participation and interest has grown tremendously.The Ukulele is a great instrument for youngsters who have an interest in music! Beginning students can expect to work on chords, popular songs and melodies. This program is also perfect for vocal students who want to accompany themselves or begin writing their own songs. Each class will blend musicianship and fun, making sure students are challenged with learning new techniques or learning a fun song or riff. The cost of the program includes your own Ukulele and carrying case! *If you already own a Ukulele you plan to bring, let us know and we will issue you a $50 refund!
