About Camp
Instructional program for boys ages 7 and 8 which encourages healthy lifestyle habits through participation in athletic events. Participant's division is determined by their age as of June 30, 2022. Events include 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 meter runs; softball throws; standing long jump and javelin throw. Teams will be formed through neighborhood elementary and middle schools. There will be 5 meets. Practices are held once a week. Coaches are volunteer parents. First meeting for players, coaches and parents will be 6 p.m. Friday, April 22 at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park. Weeknight practices start the week of April 25. First meet is April 29 and concludes June 3. Make-up date is June 10.
