*Please Note: Program Dates Recently Changed* The City Hoopsters - Rookie Boys (Wednesdays)Thank you for joining The City Hoopsters - Rookie Boys on Wednesdays at 4:15PM at the Hill Gym. This basketball program is for boys, ages 7-8 years old by November 19, 2026. This is our crossover into teaching the fundamentals in a fun and community focused way. Our youth basketball program is designed for both brand-new and experienced players. The goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where every child can learn and grow through basketball. Play with your friends or build a new community.Through the support of our Parks & Rec staff, participants will gain:Fundamental skills in offense and defenseAn understanding of true teamworkIncreased self-confidence on and off the courtAn expanded communityPROGRAM DETAILS: Players meet for 75 minutes once a week The program session will end on Saturday, November 21 with a celebratory Jamboree. Players will be organized into teams and have the opportunity to showcase their individual and team skills.DATES:September 30 - November 18 (Hill Gym, 1560 Hill Road)NO CLASS: Wednesday, November 11 - Participants may join an optional make-up date on Saturday, November 7.Wednesdays from 4:15-5:30pmJamboree on Saturday, November 21 (Hamilton Community Gym, 5530 Nave Drive)JERSEYS INCLUDED: Each participant will receive a City Hoopsters reversible athletic jersey.
