Teen Venture Camp - Sea Kayaking

About Camp

Kayakers will learn the graceful operation and control of a sea kayak on the lake at James Island County Park. ACA-trained staff will provide instruction in proper nomenclature, paddling techniques, wet exits, navigation, and kayak rescues. After obtaining confidence and comfort in a kayak, training will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, offering opportunities to paddle some of our beautiful Charleston area waterways.
