Through this interactive kit, your family enjoys learning about the tradition of maple sugaring – where sap is collected from trees to make syrup – from a Nature Center naturalist. We provide materials for a seasonal craft and themed scavenger hunt as well as a half-dozen cookies, maple-flavored icing and decorations for a family cookie-decorating activity. This kit is geared towards children 2-7 years of age. For adults and older children, see our Maple Sugaring & Syrup Tasting special events on Feb 26 and Feb 27th (RP4829.600 & RP4830.600)
