Walnut Hill Boat Launch, Homer Lake Forest Preserve, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Experience nature from a different perspective as we explore the aquatic life of Homer Lake via canoe at sunset. During this program, a naturalist will guide a caravan of canoes around Homer Lake; basic canoe safety and instruction will also be covered. Previous paddling experience is recommended. All equipment will be provided; please wear water-safe shoes and bring something to drink. Ages 12 and up; adults must accompany participants under 18. $16 per canoe/$8 per person; each canoe seats 2 people.
