Summer Soccer Day Camps will cover technical elements of the game such as dribbling, passing, and striking. The week will also focus on 1v1 moves, small group attacking/defending, and decision making on the field - lots of touches on the ball with plenty of scrimmaging and mini games mixed in.For all HCI Sports programs, the goal is to develop great character skills along with sport skills and create an environment that is safe, educational, and fun.Curriculum will include:Technical elements of dribbling, passing, and striking.1v1 moves- get behind, get space, and hesitationSmall group attacking and defendingMental strength and speed of thoughtCharacter development- Listening, Respect, Discipline, Responsibility, Selflessness, and moreAges: K-5th (2024-'25 school year)Times: 9a-4pRegistration covers Monday through ThursdayCost:Member: $350Non-Member: $400* 10% Sibling Discount (on 2nd child) auto-applied in cartExtended Care add on: $40 total for AM (8-9a), $60 total for PM (4-6p)What to Bring:- Athletic shoes; Cleats/Soccer shoes are optional- Lunch and extra snacks (nothing with nuts)* AM and PM snack provided- Water bottle to refill* Leave electronics and valuables at homeNotes:- Registration closes the Friday before camp begins- Camp info emails will be sent out the weekend before camp starts- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Director of the camp; A $40 admin fee will be retained for any refunds- No refunds within 7 days of camp starting; 8 days or more in advance, you may transfer to a future camp and no admin fee will be retainedFor more information, contact us at soccer@hillcountryindoor.com
