"The City of Phoenix Mayor/Council approved the use of The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for programs and services in our community to support an immediate pandemic response and lay the groundwork for a strong and equitable recovery. To support this endeavor the Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to provide one-time financial assistance for our winter Youth Sports Leagues and Programs."A co-recreational soccer program for girls and boys ages 7-8years. Our philosophy is to introduce youth to the rules and regulations of soccer and to enhance skills through a non-competitive environment. This program is a ten week program with two practices before the games begin. One game and practice per week. Eight games will be played. Practice day will be either Tue, Wed or Thurs (day/time depends on coach) . Games will be played at 9:15am Saturday mornings. All games and practices are held at the Encanto Park Sports Complex "Volunteer Coaches are the success of our program" Please volunteercall 262-6542 for more information on coaching."All players Must wear shin guards during practices and games"
