About This Camp & Activity
Safety Town is an early childhood safety education program designed to introduce all types of safety conditions to 4, 5, and 6 year old children. During a 10 day course, children learn safety behavior through their own involvement. They do this by role-playing in simulated and actual life situations (under the guidance of a teacher and a police officer). Safety songs, poems, art projects, stories, movies, and a bus trip, combined with actual practice, make this a fun learning experience that children eagerly look forward to attending. Children MUST be 4 years old by December 31, of the previous year in order to attend.
