About Camp
Ballet-Focus on the foundation of dance through barre, center work and across-the-floor activities. Instructors emphasize proper dance techniques, body placement, poise, grace and classical terminology in an encouraging environment. Tap-Explore the rhythms and sounds you can make with your feet. Learn musicality, combinations, terminology, improvisation, coordination and confidence. Required attire: leotard, footed tights and pink ballet shoes for girls, form-fitting athletic wear and black ballet shoes for boys. Black tap shoes. Hair pulled back, out of face. Start with one genre, then change shoes mid-way through class for next dance style.
