About This Camp & Activity
Special event volunteer duties may include loading, unloading, setting up of event items such as chairs, trashcans, portable stage equipment, crowd barricades, and fencing and temporary signage. Trash pick-up and trash removal, crowd monitoring and directing, communications to lead workers and supervisors, answering questions by event goers and similar items may be part of working as a special event volunteer. This will mostly occur in an outdoor environment under varying weather conditions. Duties may involve late hours due to the nature of outdoor events such as fireworks and concerts.
