Non-Swimmer Youth Swim Lessons (Starfish Swim School)This class is for children who are not able to swim independently across the deep end of the pool and can not tread water for 30 seconds. It is optional for an adult to be in the water to assist their child. Class ratios will be 1 instructor to 6 children.The City of Phoenix has a streamlined, swim lesson registration process for "Youth Swim Lessons". You will simply select the session dates and time you would like to attend, and our talented team will do the rest!On the first day of lessons, certified Swim Lesson Instructors will perform swim testing on each participant; assessing swimming abilities based on the Starfish Swimming Lessons benchmarks (see below).
