About Camp
Watercolor batik is a technique that combines pen & ink, watercolor and melted wax on rice paper to create a design. After the design is painted, it is followed by wax application over the painted design, then ironed to remove the wax and reveal the free form batik look. Students will have designs to choose from and will go home with a practice piece and a finished 8x10 painting. No experience or supplies required, bring an apron and lots of old newspapers. $20 supply fee payable to instructor day of class.
