About This Camp & Activity

Celebrate the season with a joyful, hands-on ornament painting class led by local artist Darla Boljat of D.K. Boljat. In this festive one-and-a-half-hour workshop, students will paint their own acrylic original painting of a beautiful glass ball ornament (or a family friendly design of their own) on a mini canvas fit to hang alongside one's best holiday decor!Students will leave with a furnished ornament perfect for giving as a heartfelt gift or treasuring as a keepsake. The class includes materials for one ornament, but for the ambitious, additional canvases can be painted for $4 each.** Students will also receive an acid-free ornament storage bag for each one of their creations to preserve the artwork for years to come. No prior painting experience necessary, just a willingness to try acrylic painting and have fun! Come dressed to paint! Aprons are optional but recommended. Additional Optional fees: Additional ornaments available for $4 each (cash) payable to the instructor during class.*Students under the age of 12 can participate by special arrangement if they are accompanied by an enrolled adult- call the Arts Center to make these arrangements: 503-625-4278.Instructor: Darla Boljat
