Mad for Matilda Ages 8-10

About Camp

Explore the contemporary style of Matilda The Musical. Students practice vocal music and dance skills as they explore favorite numbers like "Revolting Children" and "When I Grow Up." They brainstorm ways to create props and magical special effects that are unique to Matilda's world; then tour backstage and hear from the artists who are creating Matilda onstage at COCA. Campers put together songs, dances, and dialogue to share their very own version of the story, and then, culminate their week with attendance at COCA's production of Matilda The Musical. Camp includes two tickets to the show.
