Level Two: Fundamental Aquatic Skills (Guppy)Fundamental Aquatic Skills marks the beginning of becoming a confident swimmer! Participants will learn how to float on their tummies and back and be able to return to a vertical position without support. Participants in this class will also learn the beginning movements of freestyle and backstroke. This class is open and inclusive for all but recommended for children who already can independently enter the water and travel at least 5 yards. In addition, participants should also be able to glide on their front at least two body lengths without assistance from an instructor. (Suggested ages: 5-8 years)
