Our Learn to Play Hockey program is for ages 4-9 with no hockey experience.This program runs for 12 weeks, including 8 weeks of complimentary Learn to Skate classes along with 6 weeks of Learn to Play Hockey practices with our coaching staff.FIRST WEEK ON THE ICE: March 22nd Your player will get to choose from 1 of 3 weekly Learn to Skate classes that will run alongside the hockey practices that begin in week 5. VIRTUAL EQUIPMENT SIZING DEADLINE: Thursday, March 25th FIRST HOCKEY PRACTICE: Sunday, April 10thIMPORTANT FAQ's:I signed up for hockey classes, why don't we play hockey when we start the program?Because it's really hard to play hockey if you can't skate :) When do I get our hockey equipment? Once you register, you will receive a virtual gear fitting form with step by step instructions on how to size and select your players gear. All orders will be submitted to our supplier so equipment will arrive in time for the first hockey practice.What do we wear for Learn to Skate before the equipment arrives?You will receive detailed info from the skating program, but your skater will utilize rental skates from Cool Sports before theirs arrives.My son/daughter has already had some skating experience - do we have to do the LTS classes before hockey?NO. But the learn to skate is included in the price and we highly recommend it for all participants.Do I need to register for a Learn to Skate class as well? NO. Your registration into the Learn to Play Hockey program is all you need to do. You will receive communication from our staff once you register with next steps.
