About Camp
Define your message and develop your own visual vocabulary as you become a part of the community dialogue. In this camp, we learn about and create art that responds to and initiates conversation as well as inspires and energizes our community. We explore two temporary forms of graffiti—the knit "bombing" installation movement that blends public art with textile craft and the sidewalk chalk installation movement. We experiment on our COCA campus and build our understanding of advocacy, street art, and expression. This camp will primarily take place in an outdoor studio in COCA’s courtyard but will move indoors as weather requires.
