Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at Camp Hill Borough’s Hometown Holiday Light Walk & Tree Lighting Celebration! This event is transforming the former "Parade of Lights" with the annual "Tree Lighting". Held at the Borough building - 2145 Walnut Street on Thursday, December 3rd from 5-8PM, in partnership with Mid Penn Bank (2148 Market Street).Admission: Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for TOYS for TOTS. We will be continuing the tradition of working alongside the Marines to collect toys to donate! A cash donation will also be collected that staff will use to purchase toys. Gather with family, friends, and neighbors for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer. Stroll through a beautiful display of twinkling lights and festive decorations, enjoy holiday music by the Camp Hill High School Band, visit with community groups & organizations in the Prosser Hall Community Room, photos with Santa, meet your police officers, write a letter to Santa & other activities, enjoy free food and refreshments, and experience the magic of our annual Holiday Tree Lighting.There will be something for everyone to enjoy as we come together to celebrate the season and create new holiday memories right here in our hometown.CONTRIBUTE TO OUR LIGHT DISPLAY - if you would like to set up a light display this year, please email kpaul@camphillborough.com with interest. See below for the guidelines for this event. There is NO cost to set up a display, but donations are welcome. Decorations must be complete by 12/1. Signs must be provided by the organization/club/business.All groups must plan to provide their own power supply. The Borough of Camp Hill has a limited supply, but may be able to connect to your display.Please note: Decorations will be outside for about a week, rain or shine.The Borough is not responsible for displays before, during, or after the event.Lights should not be placed in trees without Borough permission.Religious or Political symbols or decorations are prohibited.All displays should be cleaned up by Monday, 12/7.
