About This Camp & Activity

The Golden Bay Chess Foundation offers free chess sessions for children aged 5-12 at the Centerville and Fremont Main libraries. These sessions typically run on Saturdays from 11 AM to 1 PM and include group lessons and one-on-one tutoring for all skill levels. The program aims to foster an appreciation for chess and help children develop analytical thinking, pattern recognition, and humility. The foundation also hosts free USCF-rated K-8 tournaments.
