About This Camp & Activity
Students in Grades 1-5, Super Science is a fun, hands-on afterschool program where young learners build, test, and discover how the world works. Throughweekly projects, students explore how things move, fly, spin, and change, with each lesson allowing them to create something they can take home and share with pride. They are introduced to key physical science and engineering concepts through engaging, age-appropriate builds. Students investigate forces like pushes, pulls, speed, and direction using balloon-powered racers and marble rollercoasters. They explore air and flight through straw rockets, helicopters, and parachutes, and learn about energy and motion with balloon hovercrafts and wind turbines. Simple machines such as levers help them understand basic engineering, while activities like DIY lava lamps encourage observation and experimentation to see how materials react and change*A Materials Fee of $25 is due to TalentNook Staff on the first day of class. To streamline the payment process, TalentNook is accepting payments via Zelle, PayPal or Venmo to the accounts shared in their welcome email on the first day of class.*https://talentnook.com/In order for this course to proceed we require a minimum of 6 registered students out of 20 available spaces.
