About This Camp & Activity
Cinecraft Kids: Script, Screenplay, and the Magic of Movie MakingStudents in Grades 1-5, In this hands-on filmmaking course, students step into the thrilling world of storytelling, performance, and production. From choosing a plot and genre—superhero/action, mystery, or sci-fi to crafting scripts and acting out scenes, students collaborate to create their very own class film. Throughout the journey, they take on exciting roles such as scriptwriter, director, actor, and camera operator, while discovering the behind-the-scenes magic that brings stories to life. They design props, plan shots, and work together to film each scene. Once filming is complete, instructors edit the footage into a polished final movie to share with students and parents—a special keepsake celebrating their creativity, teamwork, and a fun achievement they can cherish for years to come.*A Materials Fee of $15 is due to TalentNook Staff on the first day of class.
