Passenger Pigeon. Carolina Parakeet. Greek Auk. These are just a few of the North American birds that have gone extinct at the hands of man. This class looks into the tragic tales of the demise of these and other birds that are no longer with us. We will look at other birds that are heading towards extinction but that can still be saved. We will also look at some conservation success stories that have brought some birds back from the brink of extinction.
