As the weather gets colder and humans all start to bundle up, why don’t animals need more layers to keep warm? Fur, feathers and scales are all that most animals need, even in the coldest weather. We will take a look at some animals who do really well in the coldest environments and learn a little about how physics and biology work together to keep these animals comfortable and warm. Bring a packed lunch and water bottle. Material fee of $24 payable to instructor at first class.
