Join Parks & Rec for a 5k Fun Run at the Festival of Balloons. Sign up the whole family to race around Cook Park before attending the Festival of Balloons. Arrive early to view the morning hot air balloon launches (balloon activity is weather dependent), prior to the 5k Fun Run and stay after the race to enjoy the pancake breakfast, high flying fun in the carnival, or shop the vendors. We encourage folks to carpool, find street parking in the neighborhood near Cook Park or access from the Tualatin foot bridge, and “warm up” on your way in.Registering for this race grants you free access into the Balloon Festival Saturday morning BEFORE Noon.
