Family Folk Machine - Fall 2022

About This Camp & Activity

The Family Folk Machine is a non-profit, intergenerational, non-auditioned choir that welcomes kids and adults of all ages and backgrounds to sing together with a band. We seek to build community through singing songs with our neighbors, to explore American history and culture through song, to foster individual musical growth, and to pursue excellence as an ensemble.FFM will begin rehearsals for our Fall 2022 session, “Carry On: Songs for Living,” on Sunday, August 21 at 3:00 p.m. We will meet in the Assembly Room at the Senior Center (unless the public health situation makes other arrangements necessary). We'll work up a great set of songs about friendship, resolve, and perseverance in preparation for a November 13 concert at the Englert Theatre! To join us, please send an email to jean@familyfolkmachine.org. You can also just show up to our first rehearsal, but getting in touch beforehand will ensure that you receive information about health and safety requirements and any potential changes to our plans. Registration fees for the Family Folk Machine are $50 per adult for the semester and $30 per kid, with reduced fees available.
