Let's catch some waves! Students of all ages will have a blast boogie boarding and learning about ocean safety, at one of California's safest beaches, Blackies Beach. Pro Surfers Tim & Amy Reda have over 20 years of experience directing beach and surf camps. Professional instructors will be in the water with students, guiding them on how to catch waves and making certain they are safe. Additional fees: $20 cash due to the instructor on the first day of camp (for materials).Notice: Parents must drop off under Newport Pier. 4:1 Students to teacher ratio or smaller. CPR & First Aid certified instructors. There is NO surfing on surfboards in this particular camp from 1:00pm-3:00pm due to city blackball flag. Requirement: Student must have the ability to keep head above water.
