About Camp
Coach Meredith and his staff emphasize the “FUN” in fundamentals as young players learn the quick execution of how to shoot, dribble, pass, rebound, and learn team offensive and defensive concepts. Coach Meredith has 30 years of high school coaching experience and is an Elementary Physical Education Teacher in the Dublin Unified School District! The campers will learn how to Form Shoot from balancing their feet to having proper upper body form, use the backboard correctly, shoot layups off the correct foot, and individual drills to put in their "Basketball Toolbelt". Campers will learn the "Dublin Dribbling Series" learning how to dribble on the move and make fundamental 1 on 1 moves. Passing and how to use the correct pivot foot will be taught in a series of passing drills. Coach Meredith uses a progression of 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 to emphasize rebounding, team offense, and team defense concepts. Coach Meredith and his staff make the camp fun for everyone while learning fundamentals and understanding the game of basketball!
