Location :

About Camp
Ages 14-16. In this 1-hour workshop, young artists learn about and practice drawing torsos. Torsos are essential to creating figures that are lifelike and convey movement. The torso is the core of the body and your figure drawings will quickly improve when you get to know the proportions and body ‘landmarks’ to look for. Three methods will be shared to build your skills. If you have images of figures you’d like to draw, please bring them with you to this workshop. If you have sketches you’d like to share (with questions about them, or to demonstrate experience), please do! All materials will be provided. No prior experience drawing figures is necessary. Instructor: Janet Szeto. 1 workshop.
