About Camp
(Ages 13-15) Designed for Teens that dig farming! Learn best practices of crop farming, animal health and nutrition, and horseback riding by assisting in the farm's garden, stables, and barnyard area! This is an ideal camp for young adults that love animals and may be considering a career in veterinary medicine, ecology, wilderness and outdoor recreation, organic farming, or agriculture business management. The camp curriculum emphasizes leadership development through games, group sessions, the arts, and comradery. Up to 10 hours of volunteer hours can be credited to camp participants. All levels welcome.New for 2022 – Participants spend 5 days working with the equine herd with a daily riding lesson or trail ride, and one groundwork session to develop their non-mounted skills.Refund PolicyCancellations received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 24 hours before activity start time. Exceptions will be made for illness.
