Dealing with Death

About Camp

The fact of death touches our life in many ways. It is our intention to explore the various dimensions of death and how it relates to us personally. The topics we will discuss include homicide, how we die, euthanasia, hospice, legal aspects, suicide, funerals and memorial services, and philosophical views. We will bring in outside speakers on each topic, when possible. Your own experience and attitude toward each topic will be valued and encouraged in class discussion. This is a topic of personal concern particularly to our age group and is meant to address issues close to us but often not faced. Instructor: Louis De Grazia
