About This Camp & Activity

Spend a delightful day exploring New Ulm, known as the “Bavarian Capital of the Midwest!” Begin with a narrated tour highlighting the town’s rich German heritage, fascinating history, and local landmarks, including the Hermann Monument and the homes of Governor John Lind and beloved author Wanda Gág. Enjoy lunch at the New Ulm Country Club featuring grilled chicken breast, salad, potatoes with gravy, vegetables, coffee or lemonade, and a lemon bar. After lunch, visit the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, where you'll have time to explore exhibits and memorabilia celebrating legendary musicians and musical groups with Minnesota connections, including Bob Dylan, Judy Garland, Prince, Bobby Vee, and more. Before heading home, enjoy a quick stop at Schmidt’s Meat Market.
