The Dancers Studio is pleased to begin our fourth year offering a full children’s dance program to the Kennesaw Parks and Rec. The Dancers Studio is beginning its 38th year serving the Kennesaw area, first in the private sector and now as a part of the KP&R. We offer classes for children ages 3 through 11, giving them a solid foundation in ballet, tap and jazz. We are ready to share our knowledge and love of dance with our students. Our mission continues to be “quality with a personal touch”. The following information will you help in selecting the class program that is right for your child. We are pleased to offer the community, both a full dance year program, with a Recital Option at the end of the school year, as well as 8 week introductory sessions. If you have further questions, please reach out to us at bfmdance@comcast.net Happy Dancing! These classes are geared for either ages 4 ½ - 6 or/ or 5 – 7. This beginner class covers introductory steps taught in ballet and tap. It is more structured and introduces basic /core beginner level steps and combinations of steps to move the ability level forward. Attire – All female dancers should wear a leotard, tights, pink leather ballet shoes, tan MerryJane /buckle style tap shoes. Hair up in a ponytail. A bag to carry shoes to and from class. We recommend the following brands – BLOCH, Capezio or SoDanca. All male dancers should wear athletic pants and shirt, black ballet shoes and black oxford tap shoes. Girl’s hair up in a ponytail. A bag to carry shoes to and from class. We recommend the following brands – BLOCH, Capezio, and SoDanca. WITHDRAWAL from Recital classes or Fall 8 Week Session classes. The deadline to withdraw from a RECITAL CLASS is Sept. 5. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED AFTER this date for RECITAL CLASSES. The deadline to withdraw from the FALL 8 WEEK SESSION CLASS is Sept. 5 NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER this date for FALL 8 WEEK SESSION CLASSES. To receive a pro-rated refund for either a RECITAL or 8 WEEK CLASSES from the Kennesaw Parks and Rec, they and the instructor must be notified by the above dates. If you simply stop attending and do not notify the Parks and Rec or the teacher, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.
