About This Camp & Activity

Instructor: Lynda McCann-OlsonIn this one day workshop you will explore printmaking techniques that Lynda learned during her exchange in Japan! No experience is necessary. Techniques will include Gyotaku (or fish printing) to create a unique mono-print with a special (no smell) rubber fish. Then you will explore block printing. You can create a design for your own block or work with suggestions offered by the instructor. You will print up to 10 creative cards. You may consider creating special holiday cards or all occasion cards you can keep on hand or give as a gift. It may be helpful to bring along a 4” x 6” photograph, line drawing, or even an idea for your block design.
