About This Camp & Activity
Performance: Tales from the Tipping PointIn this multi-media theatre performance about sustainability, follow the antics of an unusual storyteller costumed in recycled materials. Performer Betsy Tobin enacts scenes that provide a brief history of consumerism using shadow puppets, hand puppets and rod puppets. The performance also features music created by Janet Feder that includes the use of recycled and upcycled objects and materials not commonly considered musical, revealing properties of beauty often overlooked in day-to-day artifacts. This program is being sponsored by the Boulder Seniors Foundation with additional grant funding secured by Betsy Tobin and the Now or Never Theater from the Boulder County Arts Alliance, Create Boulder & the Boulder Convention & Visitors Bureau.
