Coon Rapids Rental Property Training Program

About This Camp & Activity

The Rental Property Training Program is an online course featuring a series of informational videos that are each followed by a brief quiz. This is a one-time requirement for rental property owners and/or property managers in the City of Coon Rapids. Topics include: fire safety, landlord and tenants’ rights and responsibilities, crime prevention, mental health issues, exterior code enforcement, building inspections, and rental license procedures. The program includes approximately three hours of video, plus additional time needed to answer questions.After registering, participants will receive an email within seven days from the City of Coon Rapids. Emails are sent on Fridays to the email address provided during registration and include a personalized link to the training course.Note: the City of Coon Rapids no longer offers the Crime Free Training Program but will continue to accept completion certificates in lieu of this Rental Property Training Program. The Coon Rapids Rental Property Training Program may or may not meet certification requirements of other cities.
