Attend our Lifeguard Prerequisite Skills Workshops for the opportunity to earn a scholarship to cover the cost of your certification course!Bring a swimsuit and meet us at the pool where our instructors will help guide and teach the skills needed to pass the American Red Cross Lifeguard prerequisite skills test.Qualifying participants interested in working as a Lifeguard for the City of Sacramento can apply for a scholarship that covers all certification course fees.Learn about employment opportunities with the City of Sacramento, apply for a job, and interview for a position!Requirements: All applicants must be at least 16 years of age, meet the course prerequisites, complete the hiring process with the City of Sacramento, and commit to working at least 4 months during the summer as a Lifeguard for the City.
