About Camp
Many potters have learned that glazing is your last opportunity to ruin a great pot. You may wonder- what are glazes anyway and why do I need to understand them? What makes for successful or unsuccessful glaze outcomes? What are some general guidelines that I need to know? This class will give you a basic understanding of glazes, specific information on using our studio glazes, and an opportunity to ask as many questions as you want. Class time will be split between glaze discussion and ample time to create and finish your work.Prerequisite: Students must have prior clay experience. Students will follow class curriculum.
